Memorial Day is a time to honor and remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. One small and meaningful way you can observe the significance of the day is by taking an hour to donate blood. Your pint of blood will honor fallen heroes and support transfusion-dependent patients at hospitals throughout the Pacific Northwest. These patients rely on blood and platelet donations for cancer treatments, surgeries, and traumas. Sadly, we often see community donations drop off around Memorial Day, which makes the need for your donation even more urgent.
